Comfort is also of utmost importance because it will affect how well your baby will rest. Cotton is the most popular choice because it is durable, yet soft against your baby’s delicate skin. Organic cotton is available and is usually the safest option.

Is There a Theme?

The decorating theme can be based on something as simple as color, as playful as cartoon characters or animals, or as elaborate as a sumptuous Victorian nursery.

Remember, though, you will need both quality and quantity when it comes to infant bedding sets. You may want to make an expensive printed set go farther by buying some solid color sheets and blankets that coordinate with the motif.

When it comes to choosing nursery furniture colors, remember, cool colors like blues and greens have a calming effect, bright primary colors are warm and stimulating, and neutrals like cream or white make a room feel bigger and less cozy.

Choosing the right infant bedding set is just one step in preparing the nursery for baby’s homecoming, but it is an important one. Your baby will be snuggled in its crib or bassinet for a large part of its early days.
